1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CourierShip website and related tracking and documentation tools, and the conditions under which shipments are accepted, transported, and delivered. By accessing the website or booking a shipment through our operations, you agree to these Terms.
2. Definitions
- “Shipment” means any package, parcel, document, or freight consignment entrusted to CourierShip or its network partners.
- “Tracking number” means the unique identifier assigned to a shipment for status and map visibility.
- “Customer” means the person or entity that books or pays for the shipment, or otherwise authorizes carriage.
3. Website use
You may use the public website to learn about our services, track consignments, and view related documents when authorized. You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access to staff systems, scrape data at scale, interfere with security, or use the site for unlawful purposes. Staff login areas are private and not intended for public indexing or casual discovery.
4. Booking and accuracy
Shipments are created by CourierShip operations. The customer is responsible for providing accurate sender and receiver details, lawful contents, correct package descriptions, and any special handling instructions. Incomplete or false information may delay delivery or void certain protections.
5. Prohibited goods
You must not tender goods that are illegal, hazardous beyond accepted courier rules, counterfeit, or otherwise restricted under applicable law or carrier policy. CourierShip may refuse, hold, or return consignments that violate this rule without liability for consequential loss arising from the refusal.
6. Service standards and estimates
Delivery windows and transit times are estimates based on mode, routing, and operational conditions. They are not guarantees. Delays may occur due to weather, customs, carrier capacity, force majeure, inaccurate addresses, or inspection requirements. Tracking events reflect operational updates from origin, hubs, and destination partners as they are recorded.
7. Tracking and documents
Public tracking pages, invoices, receipts, and labels are provided for operational transparency. Document layout and status stamps reflect payment and shipment status at the time of viewing or printing. You are responsible for safeguarding tracking numbers and printed documents.
8. Rates, taxes, and payment
Rates, taxes, discounts, and totals are set by operations for each shipment. Payment status (including paid, pending, partial, or cancelled) may appear on documents. Unpaid balances may affect release or related services according to operational policy.
9. Liability and insurance
Where insurance or declared value coverage applies, it is subject to the terms arranged for that shipment. Except as required by mandatory law, CourierShip is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruption. Liability for loss or damage, where applicable, is limited to the coverage or statutory limit that applies to the specific consignment.
10. Claims
Claims for loss, damage, or service failure must be submitted promptly in writing to our contact email, with the tracking number, a clear description of the issue, and supporting evidence. Late claims may be declined where permitted by law. Investigation timelines depend on partner and customs responses.
11. Customs and compliance
International shipments may require customs declarations and supporting documents. The customer remains responsible for the accuracy of declarations and for duties, taxes, and fees unless otherwise agreed in writing. CourierShip may assist with documentation but does not act as legal counsel.
12. Communications
Operational notices may be sent by email. Public contact is by email to the address published on the Contact page. You agree that email is an acceptable channel for service communications related to your inquiries and shipments.
13. Intellectual property
Website content, branding, document templates, and software interfaces are owned by CourierShip or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them for commercial use without prior written permission, except for printing documents related to your own shipments.
14. Suspension and refusal
We may suspend website access or refuse carriage where we reasonably believe these Terms, applicable law, or network safety rules are being violated.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms periodically. The current version will be posted on this page. Material changes apply to new shipments and continued website use after posting, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to CourierShip’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer or transport law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
17. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent to the email address listed on our Contact page. Include “Terms of Service” in the subject line for faster routing.
